Among some of the international culinary stars participating are: Andre Chiang, Bliss sisters, Caryn& Karen, Diego Munoz & Emilio Macias, Edward Kwon, George Calombaris, Ken Arnone, Marcel Vigneron, Mario Batali, Nooror Somany Steppe, and Ryan Clift.

From Indonesia culinary scene the event will feature some of the country’s celebrated chefs including: Aldo Volpi, Arnold Purnomo, Chris Salans, Farah Quinn, Henry Alexi Bloem, James Ephram, Marinka, Michael Gibbons, Sisca Suwitomo, Vindex Tengker, William Wongso, and many more.

The event will kick off with a 4-day long Grand Opening Weekend Expo which lasts from 4 to 7 October 2012. The Grand Opening Weekend Expo features a perfect combination of consumers & trade events, cooking demo stages, various F&B areas, and daily schedule filled with culinary programs & performances.

Following the grand opening, the whole month of the festival will feature all sorts of culinary festivities including Masterchef's Dinner Sessions, Cooking Demos, and other exciting programs in various partner establishments around the city. Visitors will be indulged with a fun filled month of various events and venues to choose from all under the love of delicious food, drinks and entertainment.

The Jakarta Culinary Festival is considered as the first ever true culinary festival in Indonesia and is widely acknowledged by the media, hospitality industry, and customers as a breakthrough that also shaped the rapid development of Indonesia’s culinary industries.

In 2009, the festival successfully featured participation of 4 international guest chefs, 19 leading suppliers/producers, 30 culinary-themed events in 7 establishments for approximately 4000 customers and guests--including one massive Grand Opening. The one-day Grand Opening alone, which was themed 'Fine Food & Fine Art', attracted over 1500 people in a period of only 5 hours at City Plaza (Wisma Mulia).

The following year, Jakarta Culinary Festival 2010 successfully multiplied the event’s  scale, media exposure, number of featured chefs and also exhibitors by at least three. But the truly astonishing fact is the number of visitors actually multiplied by ten, as JCF 2010 fascinatingly attracted almost 40,000 visitors during the one month of the event. This year, Jakarta Culinary Festival is obviously back with a bigger bang and more than ready to indulge each and every food enthusiast.
